Our staging details enhanced this newly-renovated home with its panoramic views of the Bay Area. The entry was intentionally kept simple with a narrow glass top console and minimal decor to not detract from the Bay Area views. Cedar Street gave us the opportunity to stage with neutrals, soft textures and curved edges to highlight the luxurious remodel and soak in the expansive views available from almost every room. In the living room, we purposefully used low profile chairs to not obscure the views and serene, nature-inspired artwork to blend seamlessly with the home. We wanted the dining room to have a harmonious contrast with the outside so we combined a slightly rustic wood table complimented by a modern mirror to capture the expansive outline of The Bay.

We staged this newly renovated, ranch-inspired home with sleek furniture and uncomplicated artwork to not compete with the visually appealing, bold wallpaper used throughout the home. Our strategically curated home accessories worked perfectly with the newly updated fixtures in the kitchen. From our expansive art selection, we selected large-scale artwork to complement the open floor plan and just the right amount of eclectic accents to appeal to the artistically-minded — and to ensure that the space maintains a sense of tranquility and calmness. The expansive floor plan and higher than average ceilings gave us the opportunity to select from our wide range of furniture styles a perfect combination of visually soothing pieces with dynamic character.

Having an expansive inventory of furniture, rugs, lighting, textiles and home decor pieces made staging this massive, classic Colonial an opportunity for us to utilize our large-scale items. We selected art deco and landscape-inspired artwork for the main rooms and warm pieces for the spacious eat-in kitchen. We finessed the old world charm of the home with the new style of contemporary textiles, throws and soft, neutral rugs — all combined didn’t complicate but rather added an element of class.

The stagers especially enjoyed being playful with design and pattern in the kids room by adding just the right amount of whimsy and color.

This charming home on Via Floreado in Orinda hills is a one-of-a-kind gem with a lot of character. We wanted to ensure that the old-world charm was highlighted with just the right amount of modern furnishings, artwork and light. Originally built in 1926, this home was recently and perfectly updated with all modern amenities throughout. We used vintage-inspired textures and unexpected combinations to marry the quirky floorplan with a more modern casual vibe.
